Shape the future of submarine safety
This is a unique opportunity to apply your submarine experience in a role that blends technical expertise with meaningful impact. Working in partnership with a respected engineering consultancy, you’ll help deliver safety solutions that support the UK submarine community and contribute to a safer, more sustainable future.
Flexibility built in
Whether you’re seeking full-time, part-time or job-share arrangements, this role is designed to accommodate your needs. Offices are located in Bath, Bristol, Fareham, Glasgow, Plymouth, Weymouth, London and Teddington, with hybrid working available. Occasional travel to customer sites or meetings will be required.
Your contribution
You’ll provide technical safety support and subject matter advice across a range of submarine and underwater systems projects. Drawing on your operational or maintenance experience within Royal Navy submarines, you’ll help ensure compliance with UK legislation, regulations and safety standards. You’ll be supported with tailored learning and development to grow your expertise and progress professionally.
What you’ll bring
