Job title: Jr/Mid Nuclear Safety Consultant

Location: Remote / Bristol

Salary: up to £60,000 DOE

iO is proudly exclusively partnered with Naval Solutions, a consulting firm specialising in military, nuclear, and maritime excellence. We are currently looking to grow our team with multiple Safety Engineering Consultants to meet increasing project demands.

The successful engineers will play a key role in the company's growth and success over the coming years.

What will you be doing?

• Developing feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and evaluations.
• Providing technical support and assurance to clients during the design, construction, and commissioning phases of maritime projects.
• Reviewing and evaluating design proposals, specifications, and technical reports.
• Authoring technical documents, reports, manuals, and procedures.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the maritime and naval sectors, engineering lifecycle, and MoD procurement.

What do you need to bring to the table?

• Experience within nuclear and/or naval/submarine environments.
• Experience in authoring Safety Cases.
• Probabilistic Safety Assessment experience is beneficial.
• SC clearance or the ability to obtain it.
• MOD/DE&S experience.
