Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer who is looking for a fresh challenge and make a real difference within this well-established and leading manufacturing firm based in Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England. If not, but you still have the supply chain / procurement / purchasing experience, but in a different type of industry, then that’s fine too as the company is looking for someone to review the current processes with a fresh pair of eyes, make recommendations to enhance current practices and share new ideas with the team. SALARY: £37,187 per annum + Benefits LOCATION: Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England (WA16) JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Build and bank flexi hours) WHY APPLY? Working as the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you’ll utilise, update and maintain the ERP system to ensure accuracy, and you’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support this. You’ll be part of a small team of 5, but a perfectly formed team who between them have lots of knowledge to share and a willingness to learn – they’re looking forward to having a fresh pair of eyes and new ideas on their team. Working as the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you will optimise capacity to provide excellent levels of customer service and make sure the company has the right product at the right time, providing a forward view of what is needed. Forecasting won’t be a huge part of this role, but you’ll support your line manager in gathering and sorting this data. As the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you’ll also purchase raw materials (such as boxes and labels) to support production, and you’ll track and report KPIs – the company is keen on identifying improvements and becoming more efficient. As well as raw materials, you’ll frequently work with suppliers to ensure a consistent stream of externally sourced finished products, and work with internal stakeholders to assess product viability and shelf life. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS As the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you will have the following skills and attributes: • Have demonstrable experience within a supply chain/planning role within manufacturing or FMCG • Have demonstrable understanding of supply chain processes such as demand planning, inventory management and purchasing • Are experienced and confident collaborating with internal functions such as Finance, Sales and Manufacturing • Are an Excel enthusiast – you’ll take data out of CSI and manipulate this to meet organisational requirements • Have an appetite to learn new systems, such as Power BI • Will work across our site and teams, from planning operators to Operations Director, so will be a great communicator and able to present data in different ways • Are a great influencer who can clearly communicate requirements and ensure they’re met • Have completer/finisher tendencies, but know the importance of deadlines and will utilise the support around you to meet them • Pay great attention to detail and can be trusted to be accurate and timely BENEFITS • Salary of £37,187, which will rise annually based on performance • 27 days annual leave • Flexible hours where you can build and take time away from work • Flexible hours – operational hours are 7am to 7pm (based on business needs) • Hybrid working • Buy up to a week of annual leave each year • Continuous professional development • Death in service benefit of 4x your annual salary • Discounts on our full product range HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
