Supply Officer

Carbon60 is currently seeking a Supply Officer to join our global aviation client based in Broughton. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

The Supply Officer will manage a portfolio of suppliers supporting the company's Wing Programmes. The role is based at the Broughton site, offering a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the supplier portfolio daily using the latest business tools and digital solutions.
• Anticipate risks and implement mitigation actions to ensure supply chain resilience.
• Control demand and forecast to optimize inventory and meet production needs.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, team members, and external suppliers.
• Prioritize supply chain activities and challenge supplier performance when necessary.
• Lead and drive supplier recovery efforts.
• Define optimal ordering strategies and leverage process automation.
• Utilize data management tools to inform supply chain decisions.
• Coordinate supplier working parties and engage proactively with the procurement community.

Experience and Skills:

• Solid experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing engineering, or design engineering.
• Expertise in digital solutions and tools deployment.
• Strong MRP knowledge and experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills, including negotiation in English.
• Project management and Lean methodology experience.
• Willingness to travel and flexible approach.

About the Role:

• Location: Broughton
• Rate: £29 per hour umbrella (PAYE rates available)
• Contract: 12 months (Inside IR35) with potential extension
• Work setup: Hybrid
• Hours: 35-hour workweek with overtime paid at a premium rate
