Sustainable Abstraction and Drought Plan Manager

This is a technical leadership role within our Water Resources team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s regulatory obligations in respect of abstraction licences, low flows and environmental ambition related to impacts from licensed abstraction, as well as overseeing delivery of the company's Drought Plan.

The role provides a unique opportunity to work on the delivery of Thames Water's environmental programme for water resources.

You will be managing consultants and internal staff, working closely with other internal departments and with external parties, such as Environmental Agency, Natural England, environmental stakeholder groups and other water companies.

Base Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week, Hybrid – Clearwater Court, Vastern Rd, Reading RG1 8DB

Working Pattern or Hours: 36 hours, Mon-Fri
