About The Role

We have a new opportunity to join the team as our Tactical Planning Project Manager!

As Project Manager in the Tactical planning team, you will support our Water and Wastewater teams by helping to manage the work of our Strategic Technical Partners (STPs). You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and our delivery partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the high standards our customers expect.

You’ll be responsible for raising and tracking work orders and managing spend. You’ll also play a key role in pulling together reports, tracking progress, and supporting wider planning initiatives that help shape our long-term investment programmes.

Reporting and accuracy are key as you’ll support business case development, ensuring we’re forecasting accurately and efficiently.

This is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure work of NWG.

About You

If you have project management experience, working across teams and suppliers we want to hear from you.

You’ll use your confident and collaborative approach to manage large data sets, using this as the foundation of your decision making. You’ll also use financial tracking systems and have a sharp eye for detail when it comes to budgets and planning.

It’s important that you’re a natural problem solver, willing to become involved in the detail but also able to see the bigger picture. You’ll manage multiple elements of the project which means being organised and calm under pressure will be key to your success.

Ideally, you’ll have a background in utilities or infrastructure projects, but we can provide industry training to get you up to speed.

Interviews will take place in person during week commencing 1st September.
