Location: London, Canary Wharf (3 Days Onsite)
Contract: 6 Months
Overall Purpose of the Role
Barclays is seeking a highly experienced Assessment Implementation Lead to play a key role in delivering a critical part of our Talent Excellence programme. This role will lead the end-to-end implementation of a leadership assessment solution focused on identifying and developing the top 15% of talent across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a multi-year, enterprise-level assessment programme for high-potential (Hi-Po) talent from executive to mid-management levels.
- Collaborate with external providers and internal occupational psychologists to co-design and implement the assessment strategy.
- Govern and manage provider relationships, ensuring delivery accountability and solution quality.
- Align the assessment framework with broader succession planning and talent development goals.
- Guide and challenge stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert in leadership assessment.
- Maintain high standards in candidate experience, consistency, data security, and risk controls.
- Engage regularly with senior stakeholders across HR and the wider business.
- Proven experience implementing senior-level psychometric or leadership assessments within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of best practices in assessment design, data security, and control frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly at senior executive levels.
- Ability to constructively challenge, influence design, and contribute original thinking to established frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to share lessons learned and apply expertise to shape effective assessment solutions.
