Role We’re Hiring For As a Tax Manager you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax Advisory team to provide great advice to clients. Whether you’re based in Manchester or near another office in the group, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious person to challenge themselves within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. Responsibilities
Work closely with our Tax Directors and Senior Tax Managers, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of our larger and more complex compliance clients Deliver tax advisory work to business owners, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses, share schemes, employee ownership trusts, reorganisations, business incorporations and remuneration planning Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including reviewing junior members advice, financial analysis and technical research Provide a technical resource to our network of smaller accountants, by phone or email support Support with the management, training and development of junior team members
Qualifications & Skills
Be based out of one of our offices across the group Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ACCA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years PQE in Tax practice Solid experience advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income tax, and capital gains tax Some exposure to VAT is advantageous but not essential Proactive attitude with the ability to tackle tasks of varying complexity Confident in working with the team to achieve great things
