In this exciting role, you’ll leverage your knowledge of tax operations to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and help them understand how our services can improve their tax compliance and efficiency.

In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your understanding of tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance operations to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and demonstrate how our services can enhance their regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect Engagement & Lead Generation — Identify and engage new business opportunities through inbound leads, proactive outreach, and networking.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their tax operations needs and alignment with our product.
  • Relationship Building — Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the financial services and tax operations industry.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their tax compliance challenges and provide tailored guidance on how our SaaS solutions can support their goals.
  • Manage leads and opportunities through the sales cycle, from first contact to contract signing, using our CRM tool.
  • Ensure a healthy and organized sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Product Demonstrations — Deliver product demonstrations tailored to the prospect’s tax-specific needs, showcasing how our technology solves their compliance challenges.
  • Confidently communicate our value proposition and competitive differentiators.
  • Deal Closing — Take deals through to closing and secure won business, consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaboration & Sales Strategy — Work collaboratively in the sales team to execute our sales strategy.
  • Contribute to market penetration by identifying growth opportunities and sharing innovative ideas.
  • Performance Tracking — Regularly update key performance metrics and sales dashboards to ensure targets are being met.
  • Identify trends and opportunities from data analysis and report findings to the sales team.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in sales, with a strong background in tax regulatory compliance and operations.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations and tax technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage clients with complex regulatory needs and convert them into long-term partners.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
  • Skills and Traits — Ambitious and competitive, with a hunger to succeed and exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging prospects and building trust.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to challenges.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail in managing leads and nurturing opportunities through to closing.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and can work independently and collaboratively.
  • Education — A degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred but not essential with relevant experience.
