Job Description

Aqovia is looking for a Technical Business Manager to join our software engineering department. You will work in fast-paced development teams for our own products and/or client projects. As a Technical Business Analyst you will be working on our consulting projects, primarily designing RESTful API services.

Here's what you'll do:

  1. Design RESTful web APIs
  2. Design Data Models
  3. Design event-driven processes in a distributed systems (micro-services)
  4. Specify contracts for messaging and web services, primarily using JSON Schema and Open API Specification (Swagger), respectively.
  5. Validate/verify APIs by creating requests and asserting responses in Postman.
  6. Document processes and data models, primarily using BPMN
  7. Define acceptance test scenarios in a DSL, such as Gherkin and generate test data sets
  • Support product owners and QA in acceptance testing
  • Participate in agile team ceremonies
  • Write customer facing documentation
  • Coach / mentor junior analyst(s)
  • Support data engineers responsible for on-boarding customers/data into platform
