Overview

Join a dynamic project as a technical consultant for a car rental marketplace leveraging Supabase, Next.js, and Vercel. In this advisory role, you will guide an in-house development team to make robust architectural decisions, ensure scalability, and oversee critical integrations. The platform is already under development, and your expertise will be instrumental in shaping its technical direction for long-term success. You will focus on reviewing architecture, advising on best practices, and planning integrations with third-party services such as address verification, GPS tracking, electronic contracts, and accounting systems. Communication will primarily be via WhatsApp, with occasional calls or meetings as needed. This is a consulting position with no hands-on coding required, ideal for someone who excels at high-level technical strategy and enjoys collaborating with development teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on architectural decisions for the Supabase/Next.js/Vercel stack
• Guide the team on scalability, customization, and code quality best practices
• Plan and oversee integrations with external services (e.g., address verification, GPS tracking, electronic contracts, accounting systems)
• Advise on advanced search implementation and extending Supabase/Next.js projects
• Provide technical recommendations to support long-term feature growth and maintainability
• Communicate effectively via WhatsApp and participate in occasional calls or meetings

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical consultant or architect for web applications
• Deep understanding of Supabase, Next.js, and Vercel deployment workflows
• Strong knowledge of scalable architecture and integration planning
• Familiarity with third-party service integrations (address verification, GPS, contracts, accounting)
• Ability to assess and recommend best practices for code quality and project extensibility
• Excellent communication skills, with a preference for remote collaboration tools
• Experience advising teams without direct hands-on coding responsibilities
• Prior experience in marketplace or SaaS platforms is a plus
