Technical Delivery Manager

2 Days Old

Job Description

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, Hertfordshire, UK)

Employment Type: Permanent

We're happy to be exclusively partnered with a long-standing client in the FMCG/Gaming space, in their search for a Technology Delivery Manager. We are seeking a motivated Technology Delivery Manager to join a fast-paced, highly regulated digital business. This is a hands-on delivery role, responsible for driving critical technology initiatives across products, platforms, and infrastructure.

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects spanning new digital product launches, infrastructure/data centre work, and transformation programmes. The environment combines the speed of a digital/e-commerce arm with the rigour of a regulated industry, so you’ll need to be comfortable balancing Agile ways of working to deliver at pace, within structured, Waterfall-style programmes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of cross-functional technology projects from scope through to go-live
  • Managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across business and technology teams
  • Driving collaboration with engineering, product, and external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Adapting delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) to suit project needs
  • Supporting strategic initiatives such as new product launches and broader technology transformation
  • Reporting on progress, risks, and milestones to senior stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in delivering technology projects within regulated, complex, digital environments
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery models, with the ability to flex between them
  • Background as a Delivery Manager, Programme Manager, or Project Manager in e-commerce, fintech, gaming, gambling, lottery, or other regulated sectors
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to operate confidently across business and technology functions
  • A self-starter with strong communication skills, someone who can run with a one-page brief and deliver without being spoon-fed
  • Comfortable balancing detail and pace, resilient under pressure, and able to sniff out blockers before they become issues

Why join?

  • Opportunity to deliver high-impact projects in a growing digital business with global reach
  • Exposure to both digital product launches and large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Career progression into Agile programme/portfolio-level delivery for those who want to grow
  • Hybrid model with flexibility, while still being part of a close-knit delivery community

Please note:

We are an equal opportunity employer. We encourage you to apply if you believe you could be a good fit for this role. While we aim to respond to every applicant, the volume of applications may occasionally prevent us from doing so. We are unable to accept applicants who require visa sponsorship.
