Technical manager required, based in Cheshire West. Potential candidates will ideally have multiple years' experience in a managerial role working with agrochemicals.

SRG are working with a well-respected, global company who develop a wide range of speciality chemicals and additives. Recently, the company has expanded into the agrochemical market and has identified the need for a leader in this field for European markets. This role will involve working closely with customers, technical teams and regulatory bodies to support growth of the business. Ideal candidates will have both a strong technical and commercial background from within the agrochemicals industry.

Role / Description

• Being the main point of contact for providing agrochemicals technical support in the EMEA region
• Visiting customers and supporting growth in Europe
• Working closely with commercial and technical teams to support product portfolio.
• Helping to develop commercially viable agrochemical formulations
• Keeping tabs on the changing regulatory landscape in the agrochemical sector and understanding implications on the product portfolio
• Maintaining an awareness of product development & trends in specific industry and project areas
• Providing technical input on product development

Requirements

• Minimum BSc/MSc in Chemistry, with ideal candidates holding a PhD in Chemistry
• Proven track record and knowledge in crop protection formulation, additives and applications with recent experience
• Confidence in providing customer and technical solutions in the agrochemical/crop protection sector
• Experience in project management and leadership would be advantageous
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
