DSP Role Summary

This role is within our Delivery team, within our ERP capability, delivering services principally against the Oracle E-Business Suite products as well as some Cloud ERP products. The role is primarily focused on DSP’s Application Managed Service engagements and may include some project work. Occasional client travel (UK-wide) and internal meetings travel are required. The role is home-based.

The successful candidate will be primarily an Oracle Financials/Procurement hybrid technical/functional consultant with:

  • Covering modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, iExpenses, Purchasing, iProcurement.
  • Outstanding technical development skills.
  • Good functional capability.
  • Experience working in a support/managed services environment.

Your Experience and Skills

Outstanding technical capability includes:

  • Detailed knowledge of the Financials and Procurement data structures
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle development tools (PL/SQL & APIs, Alerts, Workflow, BI Publisher & Bursting)
  • Excellent English: written, spoken, presentation and comprehension
  • Good understanding of Financials and Procurement business processes and accounting
  • Desirable understanding of current trends and best practice

Good Functional capability

  • Deep understanding of Financials and Procurement modules including iProcurement
  • Good knowledge of modules like Order Management and Inventory
  • Understanding of complementary SCM or Projects related modules

Experience in a ITIL-based support environment is preferred; ITIL Foundation certification is desirable, with training provided if you can demonstrate understanding of the principles.
