Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects across the organisation. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working, with two days per week on-site. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, driving project delivery, and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, and status reports.
  • Manage third-party vendors and internal resources to ensure seamless execution.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies or traditional project governance depending on the delivery model.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project quality and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing clear updates and insights.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Experience delivering technology infrastructure, software development, or digital transformation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Telecoms industry experience is a strong advantage but not essential.

Desirable

  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, Scrum Master).
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with large-scale enterprise systems.
