Role: Technical Sales Consultant – Microsoft

Location: Fully Remote

Our client is seeking a skilled Sales Professional with a strong background across the Microsoft Suite. The business is moving towards AI, so an interest in this is a big plus. The ideal Sales professional will drive new business through an omnichannel approach. Working closely with the Growth Director & SDR, who will create lead gen for you to make inroads.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect for new business by using both your own and existing networks, working with partners, answering opportunities to tender, attending industry events, etc.
  • Meet sales targets by closing business and generating a sales pipeline to secure new business.
  • Act as central point of contact for incoming business opportunities.
  • Build relationships and maintain regular contact with key contacts in each prospective organisation, actively managing accounts to land and expand the business.
  • Manage opportunities within the business's CRM.
  • Lead the proposal development process, bringing in resources from other teams as necessary. Create and deliver full proposals to clients.
  • Work across project management and development teams to craft bespoke responses to bids and tenders.
  • Create and maintain a library of templated responses to streamline the bid process.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close opportunities efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of technical pre-sales or sales consulting.
  • Comfortable with selling to C-suite leaders and business owners.
  • Previous experience managing the bid process and familiarity with
  • Experience managing multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable presentation skills, and experience organising and running high-profile customer calls and meetings.
  • Clear, precise written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across varied personality types.
  • Common sense and ability to work independently.
  • Candidates should be professional, friendly, and dynamic team players.
