Technical Sales / Customer Support Engineer

Due to the expansion of our client's service department, they are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Sales Engineer to work UK-wide. Working as part of their team, you will be helping provide an excellent support service to customers.
In this position, you would be responsible to the Managing Director & Service Director and based at the head office in Keighley, although their customers' sites are UK-wide.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Significant experience working in a sales or engineering role within the steam or heating industry
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload
- Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
- A full UK driving Licence is essential
- Receiving enquiries via phone and email, preparation of quotations, answering technical questions and visiting sites when required to assess and advise on specific site requirements.
- Technical assistance in the day-to-day operation of the business.
- Attending customers' sites to solve problems and breakdowns.
- Evaluating customer boiler requirements for interfacing with hire plant controls.
- Attending customer sites to ensure that the boiler and ancillary plant are running correctly, efficiently and safely, making adjustments or parts replacement as necessary (when fully conversant with the plant)
- Advising/training end users in correct boiler operating procedures where necessary
- Project work
