As the Technical Sales Support & Content Manager, you will play a key role in developing promotional and technical materials that support the Commercial Manager and strengthen the connection between the company and its clients. Your work will showcase the company's leading R&D capabilities in agronomy and facilitate the successful introduction of innovative agrichem products into the UK market ultimately driving business growth and sales.
In this role, the Technical Sales Support & Content Manager will create and deliver high-quality technical sales support and demand-generation content tailored to farmers, dealers, advisors, and other key stakeholders across the UK. You will also identify gaps in existing technical support materials and propose effective solutions to enhance engagement and influence key decision-makers — all with the goal of increasing sales and market impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical‑sales support and demand creation calls (pull activity) on targeted farmers, dealers, advisors and critical stakeholders in the UK, develop awareness of business solutions, and increase sales.
- In collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, establish and execute sales targets, including objectives and tactics designed to deliver growth for the new product launches.
- Evaluate market and industry trends, competitors, sales programs, and territory coverage and identify areas for both strategic and opportunistic growth, as well emerging challenges, and propose actionable ideas to take advantage of those opportunities and avoid and mitigate those threats.
- Feed back to the company field data and insight leading to new products and improvements to existing products.
- Identify and collect new opportunities (new uses, unmet needs, etc.).
- Support the Commercial Manager to deliver sales priorities in the territory.
- Provide technical support for key projects and products (online and in the field) on crops in the UK (primarily in the cereals segment). Working knowledge of other row and specialty crops is an asset, as it will support products in our portfolio range.
- Identify influential external stakeholders (advisers, key growers, seed companies) with positive relationships.
- Carry out demand creation activities (farmer and retailer meetings, on‑farm support, technical support, pre‑launch and launch trial management etc.) in collaboration with other stakeholders (e.g. Operational Marketing).
- Support operational marketing in the execution of planned activities in the region.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor or higher degree in agriculture or a related field such as Soil Biology, Mycology, Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Horticulture.
- Valid BASIS certificate is a must.
- Technical experience in selling in the crop protection industry and a good understanding of plant physiology, crop production, crop protection, plant nutrition and soil health.
- Knowledge of Biorationals, Biostimulants and Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) or fungicides is a significant asset.
- Proven ability to deliver results against a changing and difficult business environment.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills & negotiation skills.
- Good planning skills and ability and willingness to work autonomously, together with teamwork ability.
It can be fully remote but must be UK based (travel requirements will differ at different times of the year, during April/May it would be nearer 80% but winter maybe 20%) within the UK and occasionally to Lyon in France. Essential - driving licence.
Salary dependent on experience - 60k + Bonus: 15-20% | Holiday: 25 days / Car allowance (c9k) /commuting allowance; 9% NC pension; Private healthcare and dental plan. Life assurance 4x annual salary/Gym membership; flexible working.
