Overview

Learning and Development Trainer - South East and London. Our Central Division plays a vital role in ensuring that our operational and administrative functions are delivered efficiently, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of care across our organisation.

Location: This is a remote role based at home, with frequent travel to sites within your assigned region and occasional travel outside the region to support training needs. A current full UK driving licence (business use on own vehicle) is required. A car allowance is available. You will also travel to the central People Team office in Leicester for monthly L&OD team meetings and monthly standardisation team days.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Fire Marshal training across different delivery channels including face-to-face and virtual
  • Deliver Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) & Basic Life Support (BLS) training across platforms (mainly face-to-face and virtual classrooms) and adapt training to varying business needs
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key contacts within your assigned geographical regions
  • Utilise Learning Management System (LMS) data to monitor and report on compliance and plan training workshops across your region(s)
  • Design and update training materials in line with legislation, guidance and Priory policy in collaboration with the Practical Skills Team Lead, Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner (Mandatory Coordination and Delivery) and other stakeholders to ensure needs are met
  • Use emerging technologies to develop training resources to improve learning outcomes
  • Adapt training to service needs and respond to participant feedback
  • Institute and maintain a consistent pass/fail system for course attendees

Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel throughout your assigned regions; overnight stays may be required
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience in People Handling training
  • Planning and organisation skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to assimilate and analyse data to organise training effectively
  • Autonomous self-starter with initiative and ownership of a diverse role
