The Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is pursuing an innovative portfolio of technologies to address patient needs in mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease. This is a field-based role with UK responsibilities, travel within defined geography, and some UK/Ireland-wide travel.

Location: UK field-based, preferred locations include Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Cardiff / Newport.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Serve as the main point of contact within the TMTT business unit for your assigned territory and customer base.
  • Utilize extensive understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to Edwards medical products and the business.
  • Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in your region to support Edwards’ market position.
  • Leverage senior-level customer contacts and cross-functional collaboration to achieve success.
  • Develop and close new business opportunities with existing customers and identify areas for improvement to meet sales targets; develop and lead execution of short- and long-term regional plans.
  • Strategic account management.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven track record of progressive sales experience within Medical Devices.
  • Knowledge of Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease.
  • Cath Lab experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability and availability to travel (active driver).
  • Understanding of emerging industry trends and interdependencies affecting Edwards and customers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional interaction and relationship-building skills at all levels.
  • Anticipates and understands customer needs, feedback and objections and applies knowledge to create value.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (life science or related field) or equivalent experience.
