We are seeking a 4G Network Testing Expert, focusing on RAN and the interface between RAN and EPC (4G Core). This role requires travel to Leatherhead, Bristol, or Reading at least once a month, and potentially to the US for 1-2 weeks per quarter. Due to security, UK Security Clearance or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities:

• Validate Ground-RAN subsystem and its integration, supporting other test analysts in automation and manual testing.
• Lead technical testing efforts, plan and coordinate test campaigns, track progress using JIRA, and report to management.
• Coordinate with customer teams for system integration and testing, demonstrate features, and maintain traceability from features to tests.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Deep knowledge of 4G RAN protocols, interfaces, and flows between Core, RAN, and UE.
• Understanding of Mobility Management (MME) and HSS in 4G Core.
• Knowledge of radio resource scheduling and management.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of NB-IoT, 4G Core, Satellite Communications, and NTN.
• Experience with test automation using Robot Framework.
