Training Manager - Financial Planning

This remote role offers the opportunity to influence the adviser marketplace and work with a firm known for excellence and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver training plans and sessions for financial advisers, both online and in person.
• Share best practices internally and externally.
• Host and contribute to company events, webinars, and training sessions alongside senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the helpdesk team to keep training relevant and informed by frontline insights.
• Manage relationships with training providers and investment houses, and develop CPD plans.

Team and Strategy:

• Work closely with a dedicated assistant and receive a handover from the retiring training manager.
• Lead a significant role in shaping training strategies within the firm.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in training within financial planning, with a proven track record of delivering both online and face-to-face sessions.
• Level 6 qualification or close to it, with strong pensions and wealth management knowledge.
• Understanding of key technical challenges faced by IFAs and their product landscape.
• Leadership or management experience with at least one direct report.
• Willingness to travel for events and meetings, with some presence in Manchester preferred for monthly operations meetings.
