The Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in driving organisational change at Admiral, initially focusing on guiding the organisation through our Evolution Programme of work and beyond. This will include evolving the Target Operating Model towards a product-focused, multi-disciplined, scaled agile structure, providing clearer ownership and empowerment, higher delivery certainty, and aligned prioritisation with measurable outcomes.
This role ensures that Evolution initiatives align with strategic goals and are embedded in our culture, enabling Admiral to deliver value efficiently to customers, enhance product and service quality, and promote sustainable growth.
Main Duties
The Transformation Lead will focus on:
- Change: Managing the Evolution Programme until completion and evolving the Target Operating Model for more efficient cross-functional teamwork.
- Leadership: Providing strong leadership to Programme Teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strategy & Benefits: Developing transformation strategies aligned with Admiral's goals, with metrics to track progress.
- Agile Culture: Supporting the adoption of organisational agility and advancing agile practices among leadership and teams.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks across the programme and beyond.
- Defining Objectives: Collaborating with leadership to define objectives and key results for agile transformation.
- Resource Allocation: Securing necessary people and tools to support transformation initiatives.
Experience Required
The candidate must have:
- Experience in defining strategy and leading organisational design around value delivery.
- Change management expertise with experience in large-scale programmes.
- Proficiency in SAFe and Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt delivery frameworks.
- Strong communication skills for effective engagement at all levels.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
- Knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industry and products.
