Reporting into the Director of Treasury, the Treasury Manager is responsible for the Group’s cash management, ensuring robustly controlled and accurate daily cash positioning, forecasting and settlement processes.The Treasury Manager will support the department in achieving its objectives in managing the Group’s financial risks. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and minimise risks.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and approve payments across multiple banking platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timelinessMaintain strong internal controls and adherence to payment policies and procedures, working with relevant departments as neededCash flow forecasting & liquidity managementShort- and long-term cash flow forecasting for the Group including variance analysisIdentify and mitigate liquidity risks through proactive planning and analysisManaging drawdowns and repayments of bank loansDrive the project to implement cash pools across the GroupManage the Group’s bank guarantee lineReportingReview the daily and weekly cash reportingPrepare the following monthly & quarterly reporting: cash & debt for accounting purposes; cash flows, debt and covenants for finance reporting; ad-hoc reporting as neededContinuously review how Treasury reporting is prepared, exploring ways to enhance the quality of information being reportedProcess improvement & automationChampion a mindset of continuous improvement across Treasury operations as well as across the wider organisationIdentify opportunities to effectively automate manual processes and enhance system efficienciesWork with IT and finance teams to implement solutions, ensuring a robust testing process and contingency planning before going live with any changesInternal governanceReview and maintain user access and rights across relevant treasury & banking systemsReview and maintain company banking mandates and signing authoritiesReview and maintain Treasury process guidesCreate and maintaining an internal risk and controls matrix for Treasury to ensure all risks have been adequately addressedSupport the Director of Treasury to create a Treasury Policy and its implementationEnsure Treasury’s excel files have controls to reduce errors and are regularly reviewed for improvementOtherSupport the Director of Treasury to: manage banking relationships, complete KYC requests, mentor and coach the Treasury Analyst and Payments Analyst, and ad-hoc tasks as they ariseIndividual ProfileRelevant Bachelors / Masters degree (e.g. maths, finance, economics), and / or advanced ACT diplomaStrong experience in a Treasury role, relevant to the responsibilities listedGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritise tasks efficiently and work to deadlinesKeen attention to detailPositive attitude, reliable and dependableShow initiative and a proactive mindset, willing to take on new tasks and get ahead of potential issuesAbility to work independently when requiredProficient in Excel, Word and PowerPointSystems used:Cobase – the Group’s consolidated bank reporting and payment systemOracle – the Group’s ERP systemVarious other e-banking platformsOur working environmentWe are committed to working in the location where we do our best work.
