As Utilities Director, US - Data Centres, you’ll take the lead in shaping and executing the utility infrastructure strategy across the region. Your expertise in high-voltage utility delivery, coupled with your strategic insight and commercial acumen, will enable the successful interconnection of the cutting‑edge data centre projects acrossthe US.

You’ll be a central figure in the development lifecycle, working hand‑in‑hand with stakeholders across Development, Design, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Operations. You’ll ensuring that utility access is secured early, strategically, and cost‑effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead utilities due diligence, negotiation, and execution for data centre developments across EMEA
  • Develop and deliver infrastructure strategies and connection agreements to enable early access to power
  • Build and manage relationships with utilities, developers, municipalities, and investment agencies
  • Work cross-functionally to align project utility needs with business goals
  • Support site acquisition by providing expert evaluation of utility viability and cost
  • Represent my client in discussions with regulators, utilities, and infrastructure providers
  • Translate complex utility landscapes into actionable, scalable solutions for our growth strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or related field
  • Numerous years’ of experience working within or alongside utilities in theUS region
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV utility connections and infrastructure
  • Experience in data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, or complex industrial projects
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage connection agreements
  • Commercial awareness of tariffs, fees, and infrastructure delivery costs
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
