Anaplan Manchester, England, United Kingdom About the role We are looking for a UX Designer to join our growing global User Experience team and contribute as a key member of our product organization. You’ll be based in either our Manchester or York office and work with a high‑performing team that values quality, collaboration, and innovation. Key responsibilities
Design and deliver user‑centered solutions for a defined product area, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and fellow designers throughout the product development lifecycle. Participate in discovery activities including workshops, journey mapping, and usability testing. Produce flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and high‑fidelity prototypes using Figma. Work with the Anaplan Design System to ensure consistency and contribute improvements. Use both qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and iterate on experiences. Help simplify complexity for builders, admins, and business users alike by designing elegant interactions.
Qualifications
Commercial and professional experience in UX or product design. A strong foundation in user‑centered design principles and design thinking methods. Experience designing for data‑rich, workflow‑heavy interfaces. Proficiency with Figma and working within design systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills; you can confidently present ideas and rationale. A systems‑thinking mindset and a drive to improve design quality through iteration and feedback.
Preferred skills
Experience designing for admin, builder, or data modeling tools. Understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions impact implementation. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design. Exposure to enterprise SaaS, financial systems, or planning software. Experience working with Agile teams.
