Location: Location Independent Worker
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
As a Location Independent Worker, for operational reasons you may be required to perform your duties, either temporarily or permanently, from any of Vodafone’s UK offices or customer sites within a reasonable geographic area of your home address. Our “Office in a Box” home working kit will provide you with everything you need, no matter where you are.
What You’ll Do
- Create and deliver detailed project designs encompassing all components required for a workable solution to meet stated stakeholder requirements.
- Manage change control using the appropriate processes. Hold regular reviews of their solution design and build with Project Team and Business Stakeholders.
- Create and sustain collaborative working relationships across the customer, 3rd party suppliers and supporting internal delivery teams.
- Liaise with Service Design and Service Transition teams to deliver supportable designed solutions within the 3DN programme.
- Comply with Vodafone Design methodology which is supported by industry design standards such as Secure by Trust and Secure by Design. Carry out tasks using defined Vodafone processes.
- Design and develop solutions which add value and enhance revenue earned from the 3DN Customer Accounts.
- Work with 3DN Account and Service Teams to ensure solutions are kept up to date, with new features and improvements leading to greater efficiency and cost reduction.
Who You Are
- Cisco UCCE knowledge and experience with the product
- Experience in designing complex customer call flows within UCCE
- Working knowledge of VMWare
- Intermediate Experience of MS SQL and exposure to Cloud Platforms (i.e. AWS, MS Azure or Google)
- Proven engineering experience of large and complex Telecommunications solutions and/or large Systems Integration business, in both Carrier and End User organisations
- Great presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- An ability to liaise and influence across all levels within Vodafone, customer and supplier
- Eligibility for SC clearance
- Systems Architect experience is desirable
