The Role: VP / Director of Design, Engineering & Construction

This is a senior leadership position where you will own the entire lifecycle of our cutting-edge AI infrastructure projects. You will set the technical strategy, drive innovation in design, and oversee the swift, efficient construction of our multi-gigawatt facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Design, Engineering, and Construction teams for all major AI infrastructure deployments.
• Define future-proof data centre specifications optimised for dense AI/GPU workloads and extreme power demands.
• Manage large-scale capital projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Drive continuous innovation, identifying and integrating new construction technologies and efficiency methodologies.
• Work closely with executive leadership, operations, and technology teams to ensure infrastructure plans align with AI service delivery goals.

What You Bring

• Senior Leadership Track Record: Proven experience in a VP, Director, or equivalent capacity, managing the design and construction of complex, hyper-scale data centre facilities.
• AI-Native Infrastructure: Direct experience designing/engineering data centres specifically for high-density AI/GPU environments, understanding the unique cooling and power distribution challenges.
• Project Execution: Expertise in managing large CAPEX budgets and overseeing multi-phase, multi-site construction programs.

Highly Advantageous:

• Modular & Pre-fab Expertise: Experience utilising prefabricated, modular, or containerised construction techniques to dramatically accelerate deployment timelines and ensure quality control.

Location & Logistics

• Primary Hub: London, UK.
• Flexibility: They support remote work across Europe and the USA (East Coast preferred).
• Relocation: Comprehensive relocation packages are available for outstanding candidates looking to join our London headquarters.
