About the role The role of Web and Digital Learning Developer is a pivotal one within LEED. You will be responsible for developing and managing the LEED intranet and website and related web‑based applications alongside the development of a range of digital learning resources for staff. You will work with our LEED subject matter experts and wider colleagues to produce web pages and digital content that is accessible to all staff, including the LEED, University Teaching Academy and Manchester Met Innovate websites and intranet pages, the Annual Conference programme and website, and a broad range of digital resources for pedagogy and educator development. Key Responsibilities

Work with colleagues to analyse complex situations, explore, evaluate and recommend potential solutions. Prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines including initiating projects and managing them through to a successful completion. Communicate effectively to people from both technical and non‑technical backgrounds, at all levels.

Required Knowledge and Skills

HTML, CSS, image editing software (Photoshop etc.), with excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel etc. Effective instructional design processes and strong understanding of delivering a user‑centred approach to digital. The application of a wide range of learning technologies to support learning in classroom, blended and fully online contexts. The utilisation and support of websites and virtual learning environment systems in a range of contexts.
