WHOLESALE MANAGER, UK, & EU SOUTH

As Wholesale Manager for the UK & EU South, you will be pivotal in accelerating the brand’s growth within your designated territories. Reporting directly to the Danish headquarters and the Commercial Director based in Copenhagen, you will develop strategic initiatives, nurture key partnerships, and act as a passionate ambassador. We expect you to be based out of London or Paris, consious that regular travel will be essential to foster relationships, monitor market dynamics, and showcase collections across Europe.

Strategic Market Development & Sales Planning
- Design and execute tailored sales strategies, business plans, and market entry initiatives aligned with brand positioning and long-term growth objectives.
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, market research, and consumer insight gathering to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and budgets to ensure sustained revenue growth, market share expansion, and achievement of key performance indicators.
Relationship Management & Business Development
- Cultivate and sustain high-value relationships with existing key accounts, partners, and agents via regular on-site visits, strategic business development, and ongoing engagement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospects, and strategic partnerships aligned with brand goals.
- Lead onboarding of new accounts and develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing development.
Partnership Excellence & Brand Representation
- Maintain high standards of service and partnership, positioning By Malene Birger as a preferred and strategic collaborator within your markets.
- Represent the brand actively at international trade shows, fashion weeks, and industry events, embodying and communicating the brand’s values and aesthetic.
- Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations and collection showcases (4 times annually) in key fashion capitals such as Paris, Copenhagen, and London.
Operational Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with marketing, product development, logistics, and finance teams to ensure alignment of commercial, branding, and operational objectives.
- Provide detailed, proactive market feedback to influence collection planning, messaging strategies, and marketing initiatives to maintain relevance and drive desirability.
- Oversee the management and advancement of the sales pipeline and forecasting tools, ensuring accurate tracking of performance and future planning.
Leadership & Customer Experience
- Support and guide local sales teams and partners through product training, brand education, and strategic coaching to maximize sales impact.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience in all wholesale interactions, fostering loyalty and brand advocacy.
Innovation & Omni-Channel Growth
- Explore opportunities to develop omni-channel initiatives and digital collaborations that complement wholesale efforts and enhance brand visibility.
- Proactively seek new avenues for growth, including digital sales, collaborations, and innovative market approaches.
Professional Attributes:
- Extensive network and proven track record in international wholesale, B2B sales, and/or key account management within the fashion or luxury industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, managing budgets, and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in sales reporting tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is highly advantageous.
- Experience representing brands at international trade shows, fashion weeks, and similar industry events.
