Overview
WorkForce Software Senior Technical Implementation Consultant at ADP. Work with the WorkForce Software (WFS) Suite (Time, Scheduling, Integrations, etc.) to solve client business challenges through configuration, implementation, and ongoing collaboration with project teams.
What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
- Configuration of the WorkForce Software Suite according to client requirements using JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
- Lead and participate in business requirements gathering and refinement with the client in meetings and workshops, including creating and maintaining business requirement documents, use cases, and process diagrams.
- Understand WFS product configuration requirements, including naming conventions, template customization, troubleshooting settings, and the proper sequence of product implementation steps.
- Understand project scope and implementation approach; identify and escalate out-of-scope requirements to key stakeholders.
- Guide complex issues including administrative and configuration challenges; communicate roadblocks and seek guidance promptly.
- Create complex formulas leveraging mathematical and/or programming skills.
- Perform unit and system testing of the configured application and ensure test cases pass as described by requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in software implementations.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with programming languages, preferably JavaScript and/or SQL.
- Experience implementing or training on a packaged software system or highly complex internally developed application.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel.
- Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices in a services delivery role.
- Familiarity with a report writer (e.g., Crystal Reports, Cognos, Actuate).
- Ability to travel up to 50% with potential for international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong comprehension of implementation principles and lifecycles.
- Technical aptitude to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances.
- Ability to work on a dynamic, client-focused team and establish excellent working relationships.
- Familiarity with or background in HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management.
- Experience providing application support for complex software systems.
Work Model
Associates located near an ADP or WorkForce office may follow the ADP hybrid work model.
Location and Education
A college degree is not required; relevant experience and skills to perform the job are important. Other acceptable experiences include military service or equivalent experience.

Base salary offers vary by location, skills, and experience. Some positions include additional compensation such as bonus, equity, or commissions.
