Compliance Manager – 12 Month Interim Contract – Location: Lincoln with occasional travel to Chester and Stockton / hybrid working environment

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and pragmatic Compliance Manager to join our First Line Risk and Compliance team on a 12-month interim basis. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in upholding our compliance standards and ensuring robust regulatory adherence across all insurance operations within a fast-paced organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and assist the business in delivering the correct outcomes for our customers whilst ensuring the appropriate balance between commercial interests of the business, the goals of the FCA and the interests of our customers
  • Review and approval of financial promotions and customer documentation, undertake regular reviews of approved material and ensure regulator changes are implemented
  • Provide information and support in connection with insurer audits and support the monitoring and closing out of key remedial actions
  • Ensuring regulatory reporting is completed, accurate and submitted in a timely manner
  • Managing the oversight of the regulatory partner onboarding and monitoring, escalating where appropriate.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a compliance, regulatory or risk-focused role (insurance experience highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with FCA guidelines and insurance-specific regulation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • Relevant qualification (e.g. ICA, CII, law degree) desirable but not essential
  • Prior team management experience is an asset
