We are looking for graduates for our Power Generation and Gas team who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse range of clients and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work across various design stages including Feasibility, FEED, Conceptual Design and Detailed Design.
  • Collaborate with a variety of clients within the Power Generation and Gas sector.
  • Undertake interesting projects in the growing energy transition space and help deliver projects such as NGT Project Union East Coast FEED, Gas Pipeline & Above Ground Installation Design, NGT asset health design works, Hydrogen pipeline routing and design, CO2 pipeline design.
  • Day-to-day activities include report writing, calculations, writing specifications, supporting other engineers on projects, and project coordination across multi-disciplinary delivery.

Qualifications

  • You will have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s degree in a relevant subject for the role.
  • Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions; this is mandatory. Successful candidates proceed to an online skill enabler assessment as part of the recruitment process.
  • You’ll be looking to start work in either April or September 2026.
  • Passion for engineering and consulting, with a desire for infrastructure; enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems; willingness to share new ideas.
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and to adapt to dynamic project environments.

Graduate Development & Progression

  • Two-year Graduate Development programme designed to support personal and professional development through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, networking, mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience.
  • Graduates can progress to roles such as Assistant Engineer and Senior Engineer, depending on progress.
