We advise on both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, tackle complex challenges daily, and make a real difference to engaged and retired employees across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Working with and learning from leading figures in the pensions industry, help deliver innovative solutions for prestigious clients.
  • Be supported through actuarial exams with a mentor and a study support package to help you become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
  • On the programme, focus on delivering value across Defined Benefit schemes with potential exposure to other scheme types.
  • Support regular valuation work, as well as risk-reduction and scheme design projects.
  • Collaborate with teams such as investment, communications and administration to provide joined-up advice.
  • Build technical and consulting skills through practical and classroom learning.
  • Work on real-world actuarial problems that matter to clients and learn to communicate results effectively to colleagues and clients.
  • Identify and take opportunities to improve ways of working and the services provided.

Qualifications

Requirements: Our Graduate Programmes are journeys of learning, experience and support. To transform your tomorrow with WTW, you’ll need to be:

  • A natural problem solver with a sharp and analytical mind.
  • Comfortable working with and analysing numbers.
  • A confident communicator who can build relationships.
  • Curious and eager to build and apply knowledge.
  • At least a 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline, or a 2:1 in a non-numerate discipline with an A or B at A-Level Maths.

Workstyle

We’re open to hybrid working for this role, which means blending working at home with at least three days in the office (four in the first few months), collaborating with colleagues and learning from others.
