We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer to join us on a contract basis (minimum of 3 months) in Aberdeen or London. The M365 Engineer will be responsible foroverseeing vendor led migration activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and internal requirements. The role partners day to day with the appointedthird party migration vendorto monitor and assure the execution of migration runbooks, validate quality and compliance, and provide internal technical support where required. The engineer acts as the primary internal point of contact for governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that migrations acrossOneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint Online, Exchange, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate) and Power BIare delivered safely, securely and with minimal business disruption.Key DutiesOwn technical delivery for cross tenant migrations covering OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint Online, Exchange, Teams, Power Apps/Automate and Power BI, working day to day with the third party migration vendorOversee vendor led migration activities: monitor execution of runbooks and playbooks, validate cutover plans, track progress and quality, and ensure RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and status reporting meet internal governance and stakeholder requirementsEngineer for quality and repeatability: script assessments, pre checks and post move validation to secure data, permissions and link integrityUser readiness and hyper care: provide input to pilots, communications, floor walking and adoption materials; set expectations where content types have migration limitations; track and resolve defectsGovernance, security & compliance: align migrations to Entra ID policies, DLP/retention and information protection; ensure audit readiness with complete evidence packsDocumentation & handover: produce operational documentation, known issues and support playbooks; complete acceptance into BAU against defined criteriaCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutionsStay current with Microsoft 365 developments and advise on best practices and innovationsWhat you’ll doPlan and govern migration waves: define scope, inventory, sequencing, freeze windows and rollback; run go/no go checkpoints and closure reviewsEnsuring suitable change control, rollback plans and communication to protect business operations during migration eventsSupport and assure vendor led migrations across all M365 workloads—including OneDrive/OneNote, SharePoint Online, Exchange, Teams, Power Platform and Power BI—by validating readiness, monitoring execution, and confirming post migration integrity of data, permissions, configurations and user experienceRisk, compliance & region specifics: reflect regional and works council requirements in design, comms and execution plansWhat to bringProven experience in Microsoft 365 engineering, ideally within the oil and gas or similarly regulated industriesStrong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration, and securityExperience with hybrid environments and integration with on premises infrastructureProven enterprise scale tenant to tenant migration delivery across OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps/Automate and Power BI, including clear understanding of what migrates and where remediation is requiredVendor delivery leadership: confident in running SoW/RACI execution, daily stand ups, evidence based acceptance and hyper care exitPreferredTooling breadth: familiarity with Microsoft native cross tenant capabilities and third party toolsM&A / integration background: prior work on multi-phase BU migrations and complex dependency managementVoice/meeting rooms exposure during tenant transitionsRegional compliance awareness (e.g., works council constraints for collaboration tools/recordings)How to ApplyWe’re committed to creating an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.If you have any access needs or require adjustments at any stage of the application or assessment process, please let us know — we’re happy to support you.Please note:All offers of employment will be subject to background checks and confirmation of the right to work in the UK.Location:Aberdeen or London (Hybrid working available)Apply nowto be part of a team that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous improvement;talent@prosource.itTalk to us today to explore how we can support your organisation's technology needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
