We're looking for awesome Toon Boom Harmony Animators to join our team for our exciting new project. We’re looking to fill several roles from junior to lead levels. Having worked in children's animation series production is essential for those applying for senior and lead roles.

This series is a non-dialogue slapstick comedy, in a graphical and angular art style, harking back to shows like Pink Panther, Dexter’s Lab and UPA.

Lead: £36,000-40,000

Senior £32,500-£35,000

Mid & Revisionist £27,500-£30,000

Junior £22,000-£25,000

Responsibilities

You have likely grown up immersed in animation, instinctively analysing movement and developing all of the traits that make for a great animator. And you probably don't need us to tell you that for most in this amazing industry, animation is a way of life.

• Animate assigned number of shots as per quota per week, comprising multiple passes and approval by your lead.

• Follow instructions of the Director to meet creative standards and production deadlines.

• Address any problems with the production team.

• Communicate progress of work to the Production Coordinator.

• Ensure quality and style of show is consistently achieved in animation work and that all notes/retakes are added.

• Follow file naming and storage procedures according to the production's guidelines

• Attendance is required at meetings when requested by the Production Coordinator and Production Manager.

Skills

• Experience in rigged animation using Toon Boom Harmony (for lead and senior roles, series experience is essential).

• Strong understanding of traditional 2D animation principles.

• Strong effects animation experience is a bonus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
