Why this role matters
This role provides technical support and managed services to our customers, using Data Services technologies, 24x7 days a year. By using market leading products and applying BTs process, quality, and intellectual property, we provide services to facilitate customer objectives through the power of communication.
The role requires a skilled technical engineer who is an innovative, engaging, driven individual and has a proven record of achievement.
What You'll Be Doing
1 - Utilising experience and evolving technical ability to resolve technical incidents, service requests, changes, or problems
2 - Dealing with customer requests in line with Service definitions and SLA’s
3 - Escalating and manage incidents and requests to vendors in a timely fashion
- Management and documentation of information relating to customer incidents, service requests, change and problem, and the effective communication of progress of such events to all stakeholders in line with internal process
- Collaborating with all BT business units to bring about timely resolution of technical issues
1 - Proficient experience working within a support environment as a technical engineer
2 - Qualified to vendor Associate level e.g CCNA
3 - Possess knowledge of Networking technologies including LAN, WAN and Wireless Communications
- Have strong service improvement and transformation skills
- Have strong organisation, prioritisation, communication (written and verbal), tenacity and ownership skills

This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
