Your New Role

  • Command and nurture key 3PL partnerships, ensuring delivery against KPIs, contracts, and operational excellence.
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations on contracts, costs, and services to keep Aldi ahead in the market.
  • Scout and secure new 3PL relationships, aligning with Aldi’s evolving business needs.
  • Drive cross-functional supply chain projects, collaborating with Buying, RDCs (Regional Distribution Centres), and suppliers to hit deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all business levels.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and guarantee seamless product availability.
  • Contribute to peak-season planning and delivery, including Christmas and other critical events.
  • Execute the department’s strategic vision in partnership with teams across Aldi to meet and exceed expectations.

About You

  • Supply Chain experience
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management
  • Retail/Supply Chain/Logistics experience
  • Confident, effective communication with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to build relationships across the business
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Curiosity and a drive to improve and simplify processes
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, pro-active and work on own initiative; able to work in a team or independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and Word
  • Analytical mindset to investigate challenges and offer solutions
  • Flexible and resilient to workload demands
  • Experience in a Supply Chain department within retailers or 3PLs
  • Experience delivering change in 3PLs
  • Ability to design and implement solutions and manage external providers
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Background in day-to-day management, cost negotiations, and contract management
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain systems (TWS/WMS/Portals, etc.)
  • SAP experience

What You’ll get in Return

  • Salary starting £36,625 rising to £42,270
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
