MCS Group is recruiting an experienced Estimator for our client, an award-winning environmental and critical infrastructure engineering company with a reputation for innovation, quality, and a people-first culture.

With continued growth and exciting new projects on the horizon, they are looking for an experienced Estimator (Electrical/LV Switchgear) to bring expertise, precision, and passion to their expanding team.

The Role:
As Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive estimates for electrical switch gear and modular solution projects. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure every project is both technically sound and commercially successful, all while upholding the company's high standards.

The candidate:

• Proven experience in electrical estimation, ideally in switch gear or modular solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical switch gear systems and installation processes.
• The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive mindset, eager to adapt and grow in a fast evolving business.
