8‑hour Stipendiary Lectureship in Law (Fixed Term for Hilary and Trinity Term 2026)
Location: Balliol College, Oxford University
Salary: £22,540 p.a. pro rata (£15,027 for the two terms)
Term: Hilary Term and Trinity Term 2026
Expected teaching load: 8 hours per week on average during term time.
Responsibilities
- Teach 8 hours of administrative and constitutional law per week during term time.
- Provide tutorials and revision classes in Administrative Law and Constitutional Law.
- Assist with the administration of Law at Balliol, including setting and marking college examinations and reporting meetings at the end of term.
- Provide pastoral care of students.
Qualifications
- CV and a statement of teaching experience.
- Names of two academic referees; at least one referee should be able to comment on the candidate’s teaching experience and abilities.
- References will be taken for shortlisted candidates.
