Requirements

The Opportunity

The Academic Administrator provides administrative support to the Academic Director and Academic Quality team. The role is broad in scope, requiring a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful team member with a high degree of initiative and self-management skills to handle functions such as planning, scheduling, and resource management.

Responsibilities include scheduling and administration of key meetings with our partner university, collating reports, data, and schedules to present to our university partners. They will support online tutor recruitment, coordinate module allocations, and manage tutor invoices and contracts.

Additional duties involve supporting the student assessment process and ensuring student attainment records are accurate and up-to-date.

The role requires a deep understanding of university policies, procedures, and regulations, assisting the Academic Director and Programme and Student Success Manager with documenting complex quality processes and support materials.

The ideal candidate should be technologically confident and adept at navigating systems, proficient with CRM software, and comfortable adopting new technologies rapidly.

Reporting to the Programme and Student Success Manager, the Academic Administrator will join a team of passionate individuals committed to excellence.

This is a hybrid role based in OES' Birmingham office (2-3 days per week).

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
