As an Academic English Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing quality assurance for our Academic English provision at Navitas UPE. You will evaluate and support our English curriculum, review moderated work, and ensure our standards align with sector benchmarks such as BALEAP, IELTS, and CEFR. Your expertise will help enhance our programmes and support continuous improvement across our academic teams.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and support the English curriculum and moderated work to ensure standards align with BALEAP, IELTS, and CEFR benchmarks.
  • Provide quality assurance for Academic English provision and contribute to continuous improvement across academic teams.
  • Collaborate with Navitas UPE teams to enhance programmes and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

  1. A recognised degree in Education, English Language, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
  2. Experience in teaching or assessing Academic English at higher education level
  3. Knowledge of English language standards such as BALEAP, IELTS, and CEFR
  4. Strong analytical and critical evaluation skills
  5. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
