Job Title: Account Director, EMEA Reports to: CEO Department: Sales Location: Remote Job Type: Full time, exempt Compensation: £45,000 - £60,000 base Job Summary: The Account Director, EMEA will serve as the CEO's strategic partner in launching and scaling Whitestone's presence across EMEA. This role blends enterprise account leadership, regional business development, and program execution. The Account Director will oversee key client relationships, manage end-to-end delivery of branded merchandise programs, and build the operational foundation necessary for sustainable regional growth. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-scaling environments, excels at building structure from the ground up, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering exceptional client outcomes. Competencies:
Strategic Account Leadership: Builds, nurtures, and expands enterprise-level client relationships; functions as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact for EMEA customers and prospects. Global Expansion & Operational Enablement: Proactively develops processes, workflows, and infrastructure to support regional growth across multiple markets and time zones. Product, Platform & Program Expertise: Maintains deep understanding of Whitestone's product capabilities, e-commerce platforms, operational workflows, and branded-merch best practices. Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborates seamlessly across marketing, production, logistics, and U.S.-based teams to ensure cohesive delivery, communication, and performance. Growth & Innovation Mindset: Identifies revenue opportunities, program enhancements, and creative solutions that deepen client engagement and accelerate Whitestone's presence in EMEA.
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with the CEO to drive EMEA expansion, including market prioritization, partnership development, and early pipeline growth. Serve as the primary relationship lead for EMEA accounts, overseeing communication, engagement, and long-term client success. Manage end-to-end delivery of client programs-from proposals and estimates to production, fulfillment, and post-launch support. Develop scalable operational workflows and playbooks to support regional enablement and future team growth. Coordinate cross-functional execution with marketing, logistics, production, finance, and U.S. teams to ensure seamless program performance. Execute detailed account operations, including order processing, documentation, website maintenance, and reporting accuracy. Identify and pursue revenue growth opportunities through strategic recommendations, cross-selling, and land-and-expand initiatives. Prepare and deliver client-facing materials such as presentations, business reviews, program analyses, and spec samples. Track regional KPIs and maintain CRM accuracy, ensuring reliable forecasting, data integrity, and visibility across global teams. Coordinate Whitestone's participation in regional industry events and trade shows to build brand presence and support lead generation.
Minimum Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in account management, project management, enterprise client services, or sales operations. Experience in branded merchandise, promotional products, e-commerce programs, or creative/marketing services preferred. Proven success managing EMEA accounts and leading complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments. Experience supporting international or distributed teams, ideally with exposure to EMEA markets. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills; able to operate autonomously with high ownership. Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), project management platforms (Asana, Monday.com), reporting tools, and productivity suites. Ability to travel regionally and occasionally to the U.S. to support strategic initiatives. Comfort with ambiguity and a "build-as-you-go" startup mindset. Resourceful, willing to research and explore solutions. Ability to work in a remote environment with strong, reliable internet access.
