Overview
Our mission is to be the most progressive networked agency in the market, a home to fresh and diverse talent. We’re looking for a brilliant Account Director to join us in our core PR team:
Key Skills and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing a strong vision and leadership for the accounts team, working alongside the senior team to deliver results
Have an opinion on the latest trends and able to guide our clients, the team and the wider agency as a thought leader
Responsible for day-to-day account leadership, leading the team and leveraging the specialists across MSL and the Groupe to solve our clients’ toughest challenges
Developing and executing plans which meet our client’s coverage and campaign KPIs and objectives
Overseeing team outputs and client communications with an excellent attention to detail to uphold industry-leading quality and standards
Confidently develop and run campaigns with fresh ideas that will challenge our clients & ourselves to deliver bold creative thinking
Support the Associate Director and share strategic dialogue with clients to influence the quality of the briefs we get
Contribute to the development of revenue growth within your clients, new business opportunities and pitches
Working with the Associate Directors to ensure the team structure creates an environment for ongoing learning & development.
Champion client team activity, individuals’ success and reward and recognise great work
Enrich the culture across the team and agency
Attributes and Qualities
Extensive experience in consumer and beauty PR – with strong UK media contacts and the ability to write impactful comms documents, such as toolkits and global plans
Experience working in international market management, communicating daily with multiple markets on behalf of clients to implement global PR and IM plans
Experience running influencer marketing campaigns, from planning, through execution and reporting
Experience managing a team and multiple workstreams
Confident and passionate in sharing your views and, you’ll be a team player and able to listen and take on board the views of others.
Organised, making positive things happen to help maintain and build the press office on your key account but help the team to do the same
Inventive and creative – coming up with new ideas and not relying on the creative department – and inspiring the junior team to think creatively
A natural problem solver – someone who run towards the fire, rather than away from it
Excellent presenter, with a proven track record of pitching and winning new business
