About the Role
The Account Executive focuses on identifying and developing new client opportunities for IR. The candidate will have a strong hunting mentality and focus entirely on net-new opportunities. This role sells directly to end-users as well as develops opportunities with partners. Sales are achieved by understanding client needs, pains, and objectives, and by demonstrating the value of IR solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new client outreach strategies and consistently engage high-level executives through multi-channel outreach.
- Create strategic outreach plans and tailor messaging based on data analytics and sequence effectiveness; train the team on best practices and learnings.
- Leverage social selling for pipeline growth through in-depth market research and understanding client pain points.
- Influence executives, drive urgency, and understand client pain points.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder decision processes and understand enterprise decision matrices.
- Qualify deals with a strong focus on quality opportunities; coach others on optimizing the sales qualification process.
- Execute and tailor strategic account growth plans independently.
- Align company resources for large account wins, forecast deal blockers, and manage internal/external stakeholders.
- Present ROI stories and build financial models to support client decisions.
- Deliver compelling C-level presentations and influence executives with strategic storytelling.
- Turn objections into opportunities, address competition, and articulate IR value.
- Predict and mitigate contract risks; meet quarterly and annual quotas.
About You

- 7+ years in net-new business development (hunting) with a focus on enterprise accounts.
- Proven track record of sales success through cold prospecting and building new business opportunities.
- Experience with sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Sales Navigator).
- Experience selling software, especially in Unified Communications and/or Contact Center markets.
- Ability to negotiate price, contracts, and expansion with enterprise clients.
- Executive-level communication skills to influence C-suite clients.
- Strong account planning, project management, and ability to close renewals.
- Solution selling experience and a collaborative approach to align stakeholders across departments.
- Ability to perform under pressure in enterprise sales while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of Cisco, Avaya, Webex, Teams, or similar communication software infrastructure is a plus.
