OpenRoom has been established for over 20 years and has recently sold a majority shareholding to CloserStill Media, an international exhibitions company. Our offices are in West London and the roles are office based with international travel.

We have exciting growth plans over the next two to three years and are looking for ambitious and motivated people to join our award-winning teams. OpenRoom Events is a b2b event organiser specialising in the format of 1-2-1 meetings and networking in the retail, veterinary, dental and eye care markets worldwide.

OpenRoom is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in London.

The Role

  • To recruit hosted delegates for our events
  • Develop new business by sourcing leads using a variety of methods (LinkedIn, web, competitors, attending industry events etc.)
  • Contribute to the overall event development: source conference speakers, monitor industry trends, work with partners
  • Use LinkedIn effectively to generate maximum exposure for our events
  • Work with the marketing team to create a communication plan for your events and think of creative ways to promote our events
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer support
  • Attend our events as part of the onsite event management team
