As a member of Vanta's Account Management team, you will be responsible for the expansion and retention of a subset of Vanta's customers by developing and maintaining strong relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all post-sale commercial conversations, including mid-cycle upsells and renewals. As a trusted advisor, you will understand customer needs and align Vanta's solutions to help mature their compliance and security programs.
The goal of this team is to achieve overall net revenue expansion, measured by Net Revenue Retention. They will ensure customers' security and compliance goals align with their company growth and Vanta's solutions.
This role will be based in our London office with a hybrid schedule, primarily in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
What you'll do as a DACH Account Manager at Vanta:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Deeply understand Vanta's current product offerings and stay informed about the product roadmap to confidently address customers.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to understand customer health, ensure strategic collaboration, and communicate effectively.
- Create account plans to identify new expansion opportunities within existing customers to increase platform usage.
- Manage the sales cycle for expansion or renewal opportunities from initial contact to closure, involving internal resources as needed.
- Forecast monthly expansion and churn accurately, maintaining a clean CRM system.
- Focus on customer needs and provide a consultative approach to solutions.
How to be successful in this role:
- 3+ years experience selling to and managing German-speaking customers in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, preferably with security or compliance exposure.
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both.
- Ability to work in our London office three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday).
- Strong prospecting skills and ability to build pipeline independently.
- Exceptional communication skills for internal and customer-facing interactions.
- Motivated, with a sense of urgency and adaptability.
- Ability to collaborate across departments including Customer Success, Marketing, Enablement, and Support.
- Experience in security and compliance is desirable but not required.
