Role
We are looking for an Account Manager who can support this by creating world-class content and recruiting superstar speakers in a fast-moving and exciting sector. This is an account management and new business role responsible for driving event and digital sales with a focus on consistent retention, growth, new business, product development, and expanding the customer base.
What Youll Do
- Take full ownership of customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to your accounts
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Achieve revenue targets by proactively responding to inquiries and generating leads based on your deep market and product understanding
- Position Informa Festival's products, solutions, and services as effective solutions for market and business challenges
- Manage projects within customer relationships, balancing customer goals with company objectives
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent service across accounts
- Juggle multiple customers concurrently, meeting and exceeding deadlines
- Maintain up-to-date customer records in our CRM system
- Develop a strong social media presence through social selling techniques
- Stay informed about new and existing products, services, and solutions by liaising with colleagues
- Share valuable news and insights with internal teams
- Commit to continuous self-development, staying current with industry trends and utilizing Informa Festival's Sales Excellence Competencies
- Monitor market conditions and competitors' offerings
- Represent Informa at key industry events
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications
What Youll Bring
- Knowledge of Bespoke Consulting, Events, Digital Media, or Marketing Services products
- Experience in executing go-to-market sales plans and accurate forecasting
- Ability to engage at a senior level, build lasting relationships, and employ solution selling techniques
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
- Strong data analysis skills to draw actionable insights from information
- Understanding of various sales methodologies
- Excellent project management abilities
- Creative problem-solving skills
