The Role:
- Selling a leading portfolio of wound care and compression therapy solutions into NHS including Procurement/Medicines Management, TVN’s, Leg Ulcer Nurse Specialists, and Specialist Nurses.
- Developing a business plan for the territory to gain formulary inclusion and ensure business growth.
- Proactively developing relationships with clinical and non-clinical key decision makers, including board-level customers.
- Identifying new sales opportunities within community and hospital accounts.
- Using an OMNI-channel approach: digital platforms, social media, face-to-face.
- Remotely working from home, networking within complex, multi-tiered NHS accounts.
- Region covers: Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Cheshire, and Betsi Cadwaladr.
The Ideal Person: Account Manager:
- Must live within Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Cheshire, or Betsi Cadwaladr area.
- Experience in wound care/compression not necessary but sales in medical devices required.
- Proven success in account management, effective territory management, and time management skills.
- Resilient, curious, able to manage several projects and a portfolio of products.
- Ability to take full accountability for growing and protecting your business.
- Tenacity, self-drive, goal-oriented approach.
- Agility & curiosity.
- Effective objection handling, influencing, and persuasive skills.
- Excellent communication skills: active listening, confident presenting, and effective communication via OMNI-channel.
- Commercial and strategic thinking, including presenting product proposals and cost savings to decision makers.
- Analytical data skills.
- Good planning and organizing skills to maximize territory potential.
- Flexibility to stay away from home occasionally.
- A full valid driving license.
