Accountant with progression to Finance Manager

About The Opportunity

This newly developed role is pivotal to both the operations of the business, and ensuring it achieves its strategic objectives. The key components will include:

• Reporting to and deputising for Head of Finance with dotted line to Finance Director
• Mentoring the finance team
• Business partnering with departmental Heads & Board interaction
• Commercial finance and FP&A
• Budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

What You'll Bring

We are keen to engage with qualified Accountants that can demonstrate a strong blend of management & financial accounting with a desire to add value through process improvement & commercial finance.

The preference is to hire an individual with industry experience, although the employer would consider an individual looking to make their first in-house move from an Accountancy Firm in Business Advisory or Outsourced Finance.
